The artefact below shows evidence from my third practicum of my abilities to manage classroom behaviours and provide a learning environment that is respectful, safe, and promotes healthy student well-being. In the classroom of 64 students, there were an array of personalities to manage and plenty of potential for students to clash. A part of my classroom management involved me being proactive to student safety rather than reactive by create a peaceful learning environment which fostered respectful relationships.

A large factor in my successful classroom management in this context was my ability to develop strong rapport with students. This encouraged them to be respectful to me and in turn obey my instructions to create a healthy and positive learning environment. This is evident in my mentor's comments within the artefact below and demonstrates my ability to implement practical approaches to manage challenging behaviour and strategies to support student wellbeing.
