The attached essay demonstrates my research and knowledge on behaviour management and developing positive learning environments which promote healthy student well-being. The essay explores the major differences between a controlling approach and a guided approach to behaviour management, and provides an analysis of multiple behaviour management strategies. My research in the paper unpacks the role of the educator in creating a safe learning environment and explores how the beliefs and attitudes of the teacher can directly impact student-teacher relationships and student learning in both negative and positive ways.
