This is such a great tool to use as feedback for all writing activities. I am definitely loving this format and if needed, this feedback form can be reused and edited to create other types of feedback form. I liked that this feedback form also included student response as a way for students to reflect on their task and giving them a specific learning goal to work on and achieve. Personally, I would include a 'Teacher's comment' column, just in case, there are specific needs the student need feedback on. Other than that, I really like this feedback form and would personally use it!

Hi Anthony,

I really like the way you have two distinct columns of "you did well with" and "you need to work on". This is such a great way to pinpoint the areas that students should be focusing on the improve their abilities in creative writing. I feel like there is a bit of overlap in the next section though "areas you need to work on now are". I think you could probably not have this as you have already covered this above in the "you need to work on" section. Other than that it is great and the opportunity for student feedback is a good idea.

Brilliant form! The "You did well with" will really help in boosting confidence. Being able to just tick boxes will make it very easy for you to fill out also. I wonder if you would go through this page with each student? Actually talk them through it as you are ticking off boxes to allow them to ask any clarifying questions as you go?

Hi Anthony,

I really like the format of this tool you have used for writing activities. The feedback form can be kept and reused, edited and provides a skeleton framework that can be used in the future. I think this is very effective and efficient. The feedback clearly states the expectations that you had for the assessment, and provides an opportunity for the student to evaluate and reflect on their own performance which is holistic and thorough.

Like Natalie has already mentioned, a 'teacher's comment' section would give space to write a more personal and individualised feedback for the student. Otherwise, great assessment form overall.
