Developing Standard 7.2

Standard7.2 requires educators to understand the relevant legislative, administrative and organisational policies and processes required of teachers according to school stage ( Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership, 2018). It is a legal requirement that all teachers follow legislative, administrative and organisational needs (Churchill et al., 2019).

Curtin University is holding the professional development of Workplace Relations in the Modern World. This professional development covers several aspects of obligations teachers have to uphold while working in the education Department (Curtin University, 2019 ). By attending this professional development, I would gain critical skills in understanding relevant legislative, administrative and organisational policies and processes in which I would have to abide by as a teacher.

Curtin will hold this  Professional Development at its campus in Perth of the 12th of March 2020.
