The artefact presented here is a certificate I gained through the Department of Education and Training, it addresses Standard 4.3 Managing challenging behaviour. During the 2hr professional development, I was given knowledge of practical approaches in managing challenging behaviour. 

In October 2016, I took part in professional development for Teacher Aides. During the two hours of professional development, I was taught several different strategies in managing problem behaviour. What I took most out of this Professional development was that it was not only corrective strategies but also proactive. I have found the proactive techniques I was taught to be very useful in managing challenging behaviour.
