Reflection - Effective Communication Strategies

This artefact is an excerpt from my supervisor report from my first placement in a year 2 class. 

While teaching mathematics, I was able to get the attention of the class, use questioning strategies, and a memory hook (a tune/song) to help them remember key terminology. 

The supervisor gave some important feedback such as the need to develop less obvious prompts, which I will continue to work on throughout the next placement.
