Rationale: MTC503 A2 Excerpt
This excerpt is from the unit Using Data to Inform Teaching and Learning. The assignment was to find and select a data set for a de-identified student (taught during practical placement). Analyse the data provided and consider what educational responses are required in order to impact the student’s learning.
To achieve improvement and development for the subject student it is proposed that a home study timetable is implemented and that parents view and sign the students work. This idea welcomes parents to view and participate in their child learning and forms a channel of communication through which to engage parents. In this situation, parents may have questions about the student's work or their progress or may see clarification on the purpose of tasks and suitability for their child.
