Rationale: MTPS501 Assessment 2 Marked Rubric

Assessment two for the Pedagogies for Diversity unit entailed creating a case study report in relation to a specific area of diverse needs. The assignment also required me to develop an Individual Educational Plan based on the case study. Final the assignment called for justification of the recommended teaching and learning strategies and indicate the role of parents/carers and other professionals and paraprofessionals in developing the IEP.

The assignment was awarded a High Distinction and stands as evidence of how I can identify and explain the needs of a disabled student, and apply teaching strategies that support students with a disability as my teaching career progresses.
