This is evidence from a mentor report from the second block at the conclusion of second year prac.

So what

This evidence shows my mentor observed me providing appropriate feedback to students on their learning.

To improve in this standard and meet graduate level, I will endeavour to more actively assess students' abilities within my upcoming third year placement.

Jess,

More fantastic feedback from your mentor. I would suggest adding some examples into your portfolio so we can another idea of what this looked like.

This evidence from your mentor teacher report definitely shows that you understand and support your students in their learning. The fact that you have provided them with on ongoing feedback and adjusted lessons to differentiate for the different learners in the class is a great example of the kind of teacher you will be. It would be great to see some lesson plans where you have maybe included some differentiation strategies or some work samples where you have provided written feedback for students.
