Mentor Feedback
Artefact: Mentor Feedback
The following artefacts include suggestions and commendations for the lessons I completed in Professional Experience 1 & 2 from my mentor teacher. He provided me with countless ways to improve my teaching practices and helped me to become a more constructive teacher when reflecting on my own lessons.
The section labelled "suggestions" describes the portions of my lessons that could have been done better, or ways to improve for my next lesson. These feedback forms were essential as this was the first time that I had been teaching in front of an entire class and I needed the recommendations to ensure that I was explaining and teaching the content correctly. We had a large focus on behaviour management in this classroom as it was something my mentor teacher was very passionate about. Combining teaching practices with behaviour management was the key to my lessons becoming more and more successful as the weeks went on.
