Rational - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander evidence

The evidence provided was all collected during prac 3. The school had many culturally inclusive aspects to their school classroom and grounds. The bush tucker garden has been set up by an indigenous teacher, symbol art and local Aboriginal language incorporated into signs for animals and plants. The Acknowledgment of country is at the entrance to the school and makes students and families fell welcome and accepted. 

The Aboriginal art powerpoint was used in teaching a lesson on bush leaf art in year 5/6. I was mindful to be respectful of Aboriginal art and culture and will continue to do so in my further teaching.
