Description

In my future teaching career, I plan to consistently utilise effective teaching practice to actively engage and motivate my students to learn to their fullest potential. I aim to establish and maintain a professional, positive and sincere teacher-student relationship, with each student, built on mutual respect, trust, understanding and honesty. Moreover, I will be a guiding and inspiring mentor to each of my students.

In my pre-service teaching practice and future teaching career, I will mindfully utilise a mixture of humanism, behaviorism, constructivism (social and cognitive), connectivism and Vygotskian teaching theories, to help me establish pedagogical guidelines, for determining the most appropriate lesson types, pedagogical approaches and teaching/learning strategies that will support each of my students, as learners, and as unique individuals.

As a future teacher, I view myself as being a passionate, ethical, resourceful and encouraging facilitator of student learning and individual development. Ultimately, I hope I will inspire my students to develop a love of learning, and to be infinitely curious about exploring the world around them.
