About me

Hello!

My name is Toneya Scafidi!

Born and bred on Wongatha land (Kalgoorlie) I have lived on Whadjuk land (Perth) now for the last five years.

I have had varying roles in my career so far, my passion for health and wellness had me complete a BSc in Health Promotion as my first degree alongside doing my Certificate 3 and 4 in PT and becoming a trained gym instructor. It was during this degree that I decided that the impact I wanted to have in society was on our future generation.

I started my Masters of Teaching straight after completing my last degree. My aim as a future teacher is to make a positive mark on the students in and outside of my classroom.

I believe education encompasses so many aspects that can make an impact on children's lives. I will always strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where I allow students to reach their potential. I aim to create a group of critical thinkers who want to be forever learners and will go on to make impacts in the world.
